  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, shredded
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar salsa
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag tortilla chips

Heat a skillet over medium heat, then add ground beef and cook until it breaks apart into small pieces and loses its pink color, approximately 8 minutes. Stir in the pre-mixed taco seasoning and water to create a sauce, then continue cooking until it thickens up, roughly 10 minutes more.

Place black beans in a saucepan and bring them to a gentle boil over medium heat.

Divide the beef mixture evenly among four serving plates, topping each with a quarter of the black beans. Repeat this process to create four complete salads.
