Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 (16.3 ounce) package refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough, separated and each portion cut into quarters
- 1 1/4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
- 3/4 cup jalapeno pepper slices, divided
- 3/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes, divided
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to the optimal temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2
Next, take a moment to prepare your baking vessel by spraying it with cooking spray and measuring out 9x5 inches of space.
3
In a small bowl, carefully pour the melted butter that you've set aside earlier.
4
Then, take each piece of biscuit dough and gently submerge it into the melted butter to coat evenly.
5
Arrange a sufficient number of biscuit dough pieces at the bottom of your loaf pan to form a single layer, followed by 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup of pepper slices, and a pinch of parsley.
6
Repeat this layering process once more, topping it with the remaining biscuit dough pieces, pepper slices, and a sprinkle of parsley flakes.
7
Mix together the remaining 1/4 cup of Cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese in a separate bowl.
8
Spread the combined cheese mixture evenly over the top of your ingredients to cover them completely.
9
Place your loaf in the preheated oven and bake until it reaches a golden brown color, taking approximately 40 to 45 minutes.
10
Once the bread is done baking, remove it from the pan and let it cool for 5 minutes before inverting it onto a plate to serve.
