Best Oreo Fudge

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crumbled chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®)
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®)

Preheat your oven by placing the 9x13-inch baking dish in it for a few minutes. Next, cover the bottom of the 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set it aside for now.

In a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Place the saucepan over high heat and bring the mixture to a rolling boil, stirring constantly with a spoon. Continue boiling and stirring until the mixture has become smooth and uniform, taking about 3 to 5 minutes.

Once the saucepan has reached its boiling point, remove it from the heat source. Next, add in white chocolate chips and marshmallow creme to the saucepan. Continue stirring until these ingredients have melted, then stir in a few drops of vanilla extract to give the fudge its signature flavor. Finally, fold in 1/2 cup of crushed cookies until they are just incorporated into the mixture.

Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly across the bottom. To add some extra texture to your fudge, sprinkle 1 cup of crushed cookies evenly over the top. Gently press these cookies into the fudge to create a crunchy, cookie-topped surface.
