Ingredients
- 8 ounces shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)

Melt the Cheddar and Swiss cheese together by combining them in a bowl with some flour, salt, and black pepper.

Take the garlic clove and rub it gently along the entire bottom and sides of the fondue pot.

Carefully pour the beer into the fondue pot, then gradually heat it up over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes.

Slowly add the cheese mixture to the beer, stirring constantly and adding small amounts at a time until the cheese is fully melted and blended together, taking around 10 to 15 minutes.

Finally, stir in some hot pepper sauce to give the fondue a spicy kick.
