  • 1 (2.85 lb) package Johnsonville® Original Bratwurst Party Pack
  • 1 aluminum foil baking pan (11x9x2 3/8-inch)
  • 2 (12 ounce) cans beer, or as needed
  • 1 large yellow or white onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 12 bratwurst buns

Heat up an outdoor grill to a moderate-low temperature and lightly brush the metal grates with a small amount of oil.

Place the sausages on the grill, covered with a lid, and frequently flip them until they develop a nice brown color and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of each sausage reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Transfer the sausages to a foil-lined baking pan. Boost the grill's heat level to medium.
