Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti
- 1 teaspoon dark sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
- 4 cups mixed vegetables
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon Asian chile paste with garlic
Instructions
1
Start by filling a large container with salted water and placing it on the stovetop. Bring the water to a rolling boil before adding your spaghetti. Cook the pasta until it reaches an al dente texture, which should take around 12 minutes; remove from the water and transfer it to a spacious container. Drizzle sesame oil over the spaghetti; mix well to coat the noodles evenly. Cover the bowl with a plate to keep the noodles warm and cozy.
2
Next, heat some peanut oil in a large cooking vessel over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger to the hot oil and stir constantly until they release their fragrance, approximately 30 seconds. Introduce a variety of mixed vegetables to the skillet; cook and stir until they start to soften, about 3 minutes. Add sliced flank steak to the vegetable mixture; cook and stir until the beef is cooked through, around 5 minutes.
3
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, and chile paste; mix until well combined. Pour the sauce over the spaghetti in the bowl. Combine the spaghetti, vegetables, and steak in the wok; cook and stir until everything is hot and well mixed, 2 to 3 minutes.
