- 1 (8 ounce) package mushrooms, chopped, or more to taste
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Take the ground beef out of the refrigerator and allow it to sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before proceeding.

Combine sliced mushrooms, chopped onion, minced garlic, dried Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Thoroughly mix these ingredients together until they are well combined.

Add the ground beef to the bowl and use your hands or a spoon to mix it in with the other ingredients until just combined. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty approximately 1/2 inch thick.

Preheat an indoor grill pan over medium-high heat and spray it with cooking spray. Cook the patties in batches, flipping them halfway through, until they are browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes per side.
