Ingredients
- 1 (3 pound) package frozen white bread dough
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
- 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- vegetable oil
Instructions
1
Firstly, remove the frozen bread dough from the refrigerator and allow it to thaw at room temperature. Divide each roll into three equal portions and set them aside for later use.
2
Next, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef and cabbage until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper to suit your taste preferences.
3
Subsequently, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius), ensuring it reaches the desired temperature.
4
Now, roll out the thawed bread dough and cut it into uniform squares. Place a small amount of the beef/cabbage mixture onto the center of each dough square, followed by a sprinkle of cheese on top. Fold over the dough to form a triangle and press the edges together to seal the pastry, making sure they are securely pinched.
5
After that, brush a thin layer of oil onto the exterior of each pastry to prevent drying out during baking.
6
Finally, arrange the pastries in a 9x13 inch baking dish and bake them in the preheated oven for 45 to 60 minutes, or until they reach a golden brown color.
