Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup diced tomato
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup bulgur (cracked wheat), uncooked
- salt to taste
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
Instructions
1
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over high heat until it breaks apart into small pieces and is almost fully cooked. Remove excess fat from the pan, then decrease the heat to medium. Sauté chopped celery and green onions alongside the beef until the vegetables are soft, and the meat is nicely browned.

Meanwhile, heat up beef broth in a separate saucepan over high heat until it reaches boiling point. Add bulgur wheat and cover the pan, then lower the heat to a low simmer. Allow the wheat to cook for around 10 minutes or until tender. Combine the cooked beef with the stewed vegetables and season with salt, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of flavor to taste.
