Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds pork rib tips
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt, or to taste
- aluminum foil
- 3/4 cup barbecue sauce, or to taste
Instructions
1
Begin by removing any excess silver skin from the underside of your rib tips, if present. Next, generously sprinkle seasoned salt all over the meat.
2
Next, prepare a baking pan by lining it with aluminum foil and placing your seasoned meat inside. Cover the pan tightly with another piece of foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
3
Before baking, preheat your oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Place the foil-wrapped ribs in the preheated oven and bake for 2 1/2 hours.
4
Remove the pan from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Carefully lift off the foil covering and drain any excess juices, if necessary. Brush your ribs generously with barbecue sauce.
5
Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Flip them over and brush with additional barbecue sauce; continue baking for another 15 minutes. Repeat this process two more times to achieve the perfect glaze.
6
Once cooked, cut your ribs into desired serving sizes, approximately 1 1/2 to 2 inches.
7
To add a final touch of flavor, turn on your oven broiler and set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source. Broil the ribs until slightly charred, approximately 2 to 3 minutes. Keep a close eye on them to avoid burning.
