Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce, divided
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- cooking spray
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit (or 190 degrees Celsius, if you prefer metric measurements).
2
In a large mixing container, merge ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, chopped onion, 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to thoroughly combine all the ingredients until they are well incorporated.
3
Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly spray it with cooking spray. Form the meat mixture into an even, rectangular shape.
4
Bake the meatloaf in your preheated oven for 45 minutes. During the last 15 minutes of cooking, brush the meatloaf with any remaining BBQ sauce you have on hand - feel free to add more if desired.
5
Slice the cooked meatloaf and serve it with an abundance of BBQ sauce, should you desire additional flavor.
