Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta Delight
Ingredients
  • 1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti, broken in half
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons chopped scallions
Instructions
1
Start by filling a large container with salted water and placing it on the stovetop to reach its boiling point. Once boiling, add spaghetti to the pot and cook, stirring occasionally, until it reaches your desired level of doneness - still slightly firm in the center but not hard, typically taking around 12 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
2
In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, chili sauce, lime juice, and Sriracha in a smooth mixture.
3
In the same large soup pot used for cooking the spaghetti, melt butter over medium-high heat to create a smooth, melted layer. Add shrimp and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are fully cooked. Next, add minced garlic and continue to cook for an additional minute, allowing the flavors to meld together.
4
Now, add the cooked spaghetti to the pot along with the mayonnaise-chili sauce mixture. Stir everything together until the sauce is well combined and hot, taking about 2 minutes to achieve this.
5
Reduce heat to its lowest setting and let the dish sit for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to thicken and meld together.
6
Finally, divide the dish evenly among serving plates and garnish with chopped scallion.
