- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons chopped onion
- 4 cloves garlic, minced

Clean and prepare the mushrooms by removing their stems, reserving them for a future use. Position the mushroom caps cap-side up in a shallow serving dish.

Mix together the oil, balsamic vinegar, onion, and garlic in a small bowl. Distribute the mixture uniformly over the mushroom caps; allow them to sit at room temperature for 1 hour.

Heat up the grill to a medium-high temperature; lightly oil the grill surface. Grill the mushrooms over high heat until they are nicely caramelized and tender, taking approximately 5 to 8 minutes; serve the dish warm.
