Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 (6 ounce) container crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
1
First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or 175 degrees Celsius). To prevent the mini muffin tin from sticking, lightly spray it with cooking spray.
2
Next, combine ground turkey, fresh spinach that has been drained of excess water, crumbled feta cheese, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Use your hands or a spoon to thoroughly blend the ingredients until they are perfectly incorporated.
3
Then, shape the mixture into 24 identical meatballs and place them in the prepared mini muffin tin.
4
After that, pop the mini muffin tin into your preheated oven and bake until the meatballs are cooked through, taking between 20 to 25 minutes. To ensure they're fully cooked, insert an instant-read thermometer into the center of one of the meatballs and verify that it reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (or 74 degrees Celsius).
