Baked Peaches with Vanilla Cream
Ingredients
  • 8 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into 8 pieces
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon, or more to taste
  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream

Heat the oven to its highest temperature setting, which is 400 degrees Fahrenheit or 200 degrees Celsius.

Prepare a large baking dish measuring 9 by 13 inches and fill it with an equal amount of brown sugar, approximately one teaspoon per peach.

Add a small piece of softened butter on top of each brown sugar mound, followed by a light sprinkle of cinnamon.

Carefully position a half-peach cut-side facing downwards on top of the brown sugar-butter mixture.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the peaches become tender.
