  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup white sugar

Preheat the oven to its highest temperature setting, which is 400 degrees Fahrenheit or 200 degrees Celsius.

Mix the baking powder, milk, egg, two tablespoons of granulated sugar, and a pinch of ground cinnamon in a bowl using a whisk, stirring with great intensity until the mixture is well combined. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead it five times, working the ingredients until they come together. Roll out the dough to a thickness of half an inch and use a doughnut-shaped cookie cutter, also dusted with flour, to cut out the desired shapes. Place the doughnuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the doughnuts in the preheated oven for 7 to 9 minutes, or until they are cooked through and have a lightly browned exterior.

In a separate bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop until it reaches its liquid state. In another bowl, place half a cup of granulated sugar and stir until it is well combined.
