Baked Cheesecake with Cherry Topping
Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream, at room temperature
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
Instructions
1
Collect all necessary components for preparation.
2
Preheat your oven to a temperature of 300 degrees Fahrenheit (or 150 degrees Celsius).
3
Melt the butter and combine it with graham cracker crumbs and sugar in a large mixing container; blend everything thoroughly.
4
Spread the mixture evenly onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, making sure it's firmly in place.
5
Use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese in a large bowl until it reaches a light and airy consistency.
6
Gradually add condensed milk to the cream cheese mixture, blending until it's smooth and even.
7
Add eggs and lemon juice to the mixture; blend everything together well. Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared pan.
8
Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven until the center is set and firm, taking around 50 to 55 minutes.
9
Remove the cheesecake from the oven; top it with a dollop of sour cream.
10
Continue baking for another 5 minutes, or until the sour cream has set properly.
11
Allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature for 1 hour before refrigerating it for a minimum of 4 hours.
12
Garnish the cheesecake with pie filling before serving; store any leftovers covered in the refrigerator.
