Baked Cauliflower with Parmesan and Cheddar
Ingredients
  • 1 large head cauliflower, broken into small florets
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2/3 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

Bring a generous amount of water to a rolling boil in a medium-sized saucepan. Place 2 inches of the boiling water into the pan, add cauliflower florets, cover the saucepan with a lid, and cook for approximately 10 minutes. Remove from heat, drain the water, and transfer the cauliflower to a 2 quart-sized casserole dish.

In a small, contained bowl, combine softened butter, grated Parmesan cheese, crushed bread crumbs, salt, and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Mix the ingredients together until they are well combined. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the cauliflower in the casserole dish.

Top the cauliflower with a generous amount of shredded Cheddar cheese. Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
