Baked Alaska Salmon with Pecan Crunch Coating
Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 5 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 3 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 6 (4 ounce) fillets salmon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 lemon wedges
Instructions
1
First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit or 200 degrees Celsius.
2
To make the marinade, combine the mustard, softened butter, and honey in a small bowl. Mix until smooth.
3
In another container, blend the bread crumbs, chopped pecans, and fresh parsley together until well combined.
4
Next, season each salmon fillet with a pinch of salt and pepper. Place the fish on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
5
Now, brush each salmon fillet with the mustard-honey mixture. Finally, sprinkle a layer of bread crumb mixture on top of each fillet.
6
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, or until the salmon flakes easily when pierced with a fork. Serve hot, garnished with lemon wedges.
