Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 10 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 (2 ounce) cans anchovy fillets, drained
- 1 pint heavy cream

Heat a saucepan of medium size over a moderate flame until the butter starts to melt. Introduce minced garlic into the saucepan and gently stir, allowing it to infuse its flavor until it becomes aromatic. Gradually decrease the heat to a low setting. Combine minced anchovy filets with oil in the saucepan and continuously stir until it reaches a thickened consistency. Remove from heat, cover with a lid, and refrigerate for approximately 2 hours.

Reheat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it begins to bubble. Present hot.
