Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 16 whole jalapeno peppers with stems
- 8 slices bacon, cut in half crosswise
Instructions
1
Heat the outdoor grill to a medium temperature and lightly brush the metal grates with oil.
2
Combine softened cream cheese, shredded Cheddar, grated Parmesan, and garlic powder in a bowl until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
3
Place a jalapeño pepper on a flat surface and carefully slice along one side, exposing the seeds and white membrane. Use the tip of a spoon to remove the seeds and membrane, leaving the pepper hollow. Repeat this process for each remaining pepper.
4
Finely chop the pepper slices and mix them into the cheese filling. Fill each pepper with the cheese mixture, then wrap it in a half slice of bacon. Secure the bacon with toothpicks.
5
Place the stuffed peppers on a less-hot part of the grill and cook until they are hot, juicy, and the bacon is browned, taking around 30 to 40 minutes.
