Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 2 flour tortillas
- 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 small tomato, seeded and diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 3 slices cooked bacon, crumbled, or more to taste
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 avocado - peeled, pitted, and sliced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon ranch dressing, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon buffalo ranch dressing, or to taste
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit (or 190 degrees Celsius).
2
To prevent food from sticking, lightly mist a large cast iron skillet with non-stick cooking spray.
3
Next, place the prepared skillet over medium heat for a short period of 30 seconds.
4
Add one flour tortilla to the skillet and cook until its bottom is nicely browned and has developed a crispy texture, approximately 1 minute.
5
To add flavor to your dish, place half of the Cheddar cheese on top of the tortilla, followed by half of the tomato slices and half of the sautéed onion.
6
Add a corresponding amount of crispy bacon on top, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
7
Once the cheese starts to melt and becomes smooth, transfer the skillet to the preheated oven for an additional 2-3 minutes.
8
This will ensure that the cheese is fully melted and has a smooth, creamy texture.
9
Finish your dish by topping it with half of the sliced avocado, some chopped cilantro, a sprinkle of salt, and pepper to taste.
10
Drizzle both the ranch dressing and buffalo ranch dressing over the top in a zig-zag pattern.
11
Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients to create multiple layers and a visually appealing dish.
