Ingredients
- 3/4 pound sliced bacon
- 1 (9 inch) single refrigerated pie crust
- 6 large eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 5 dashes hot pepper sauce, or to taste
- 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach - thawed, drained and squeezed dry
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a high temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius.
2
Cook the bacon in a large, deep skillet over high heat, stirring occasionally until it reaches an even brown color, approximately 10 minutes. Remove the cooked bacon from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess moisture. Wait for the bacon to cool down before chopping it.
3
Place the pie crust into a 9-inch round baking dish and set it aside for now.
4
Mix together eggs, heavy cream, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
5
Cover the bottom of the pie crust with spinach leaves, followed by layers of cooked bacon, shredded Cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions. Pour the egg mixture over these ingredients and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
6
Bake the quiche in your preheated oven until the top is lightly puffed and golden brown, and when you insert a knife into the center of the quiche, it comes out clean. This should take around 35 to 45 minutes.
