Ingredients
- 5 unpeeled garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt

Preheat the oven to its highest temperature setting, which is 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

Position the oven in its highest heat mode and set it to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

Place unpeeled garlic cloves in the center of a large square piece of aluminum foil.

Drizzle the unpeeled garlic cloves with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and then fold the foil over them to create a sealed package.

Place the garlic-wrapped foil in the preheated oven and roast for 10 to 15 minutes, or until it reaches a golden brown color.

Remove the garlic from the oven and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, allowing it to cool down.

Squeeze the roasted garlic out of its peels into a food processor.

Add garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, salt, and the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the food processor.
