Ingredients
- 12 (3 inch) unbaked tart shells
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, or as needed
Instructions
1
First, preheat your oven to the desired temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit or 220 degrees Celsius.
2
Next, arrange the tart shells on a baking sheet and distribute raisins uniformly across the bottom of each shell.
3
Then, combine butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl using an electric mixer.
4
After that, incorporate the egg into the mixture and pour it into each tart shell.
5
Finally, sprinkle walnuts over the top of each tart shell and bake in a preheated oven until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is bubbly, approximately 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack for around 10 minutes before serving.
