Ingredients
- 6 pounds beef short ribs
- 1 cup coarse salt, or as needed
- 6 medium limes, cut in wedges
Instructions
1
Heat up your outdoor grill to a medium-high temperature before starting the cooking process.
2
Apply a thin layer of oil to the grill grates to prevent sticking during cooking.
3
Sprinkle a generous amount of salt liberally over both sides of the ribs, making sure they are evenly coated.
4
Place the ribs on the preheated grill and cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until the meat is tender and easily separates from the bone.
5
To check for doneness, insert an instant-read thermometer into the center of the meat and verify that it reaches a temperature of 130 degrees F (54 degrees C).
6
Once cooked, transfer the ribs to a large glass serving dish and finish them off with a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
