  • 1 pound rhubarb, cut into 1/4 inch slices
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O® mix
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted

Preheat your oven to the desired temperature of three fifty degrees Fahrenheit, or one seventy five degrees Celsius.

Next, take a stick of butter and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan thoroughly.

Spread the rhubarb out in an even layer at the bottom of your prepared baking dish.

Following that, sprinkle a generous amount of sugar over the rhubarb, then add the gelatin mix and finally the cake mix.

Pour water and melted butter over the top of your mixture, but do not stir it at this point.
