Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, or as needed
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 pound ham steak, cut into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 5 large eggs
- 4 asparagus spears, chopped
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 slices Provolone cheese

Preheat a skillet over medium heat and pour in olive oil; add sliced onions and chopped green peppers. Continue to cook and stir the mixture until the onions have developed a light brown hue, approximately 5 minutes. Introduce diced ham and sprinkle garlic salt into the pan; stir to combine.

In a separate bowl, whisk together beaten eggs, asparagus spears, and milk using a fork or whisk; pour the egg mixture over the ham and vegetable combination in the pan. Add sliced Provolone cheese to the mixture; cook until the eggs start to solidify, about 3 minutes. Gently fold the omelet in half and continue cooking until the cheese has melted, approximately 2 minutes.
