Ingredients

- 4 cups milk
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon butter

Combine eggs in a large bowl and blend until they become smooth and free of lumps. Introduce milk, flour, sugar, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and salt into the mixture; whisk until just blended together. Gradually incorporate 1/2 cup of melted butter into the mixture until it reaches a thin and slightly uneven consistency.

Preheat a nonstick griddle over medium-high heat. Apply 1 teaspoon of butter to the surface, making sure it's generously spread out. Pour small amounts of batter onto the griddle to create 6-inch pancakes. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges start to dry, approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute. Flip the pancakes over and cook until the other side is dry, another 30 seconds to 1 minute. Continue with the remaining batter.
