  • 1 gallon apple juice
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar, or to taste
  • 6 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks
  • 1 (1 liter) bottle 190 proof grain alcohol (such as Everclearâ„¢)

Combine apple cider, apple juice, sugar, and cinnamon sticks in a large container. Heat it up over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has fully incorporated into the mixture. Stop the heating process and discard those cinnamon sticks. Let the mixture calm down to room temperature, then gently add grain alcohol into it. Pour this prepared liquid into sterilized quart-sized canning jars, close them with clean lids and rings, and put them in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve. Keep them refrigerated for up to six months.
