Cinnamon Apple Pancakes

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Combine chopped apple, milk, melted butter, and beaten egg in a substantial mixing vessel. Blend dry ingredients - flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon - together in a separate container using a sifting motion. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the apple mixture until just merged.

Preheat a cooking surface that has been lightly coated with oil over medium-high heat conditions.

Pour spoonfuls of the batter, approximately 1/4 cup in quantity, onto the hot cooking surface and cook until the bottom is lightly browned. Flip and cook until the other side is also nicely colored. Continue with the remaining batter portions.
