- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg

- 2 cups diced apples
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Preheat your oven to the optimal temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).

Next, prepare your muffin tin by either coating it with a thin layer of oil or lining each cup with individual paper liners.

To create the muffin batter, combine 2 ¼ cups of flour, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing vessel.

Meanwhile, in a smaller bowl, whisk together 1 ½ cups of brown sugar, buttermilk, ½ cup of melted butter, an egg, and vanilla extract until the sugar has fully dissolved.
