Ingredients
- 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
- 6 (8 inch) flour tortillas
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or more to taste
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup margarine
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to the desired temperature, which is 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.
2
Next, divide the fruit among all tortillas and liberally sprinkle with cinnamon to achieve an even distribution.
3
Then, roll up each tortilla tightly and position it seam-side down in a lightly oiled 8x8-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
4
In a separate saucepan, combine white sugar, brown sugar, water, and margarine, and bring the mixture to a rolling boil over high heat.
5
Once boiling, decrease the heat and maintain a gentle simmer while stirring constantly for 3 minutes to allow the sugars to dissolve.
6
After the mixture has simmered, pour it evenly over all tortillas in the baking dish.
7
Finally, sprinkle a generous amount of extra cinnamon on top of each tortilla to suit your personal taste preferences.
8
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden brown and the fruit is tender.
