Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons oats
- 4 dashes ground cinnamon, divided
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 apple - peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons water

Combine the softened butter and granulated sugar in a bowl using your fingertips to gently blend them together.

Add the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, three pinches of ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt; mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Apply a small amount of cooking spray to a microwave-safe mug. Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the mug, creating a crust-like formation.

Heat the crust in the microwave for 30 seconds on high heat.

Remove the mug from the microwave oven; add a pinch of ground cinnamon, sliced apples, and brown sugar. Add a small amount of water to the mixture. Mix the apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon together with care, taking extra attention not to disturb the crust. Pour the remaining crumb mixture on top of the apple mixture.

Heat the entire mixture in the microwave for 1 minute and 50 seconds on 60% power.

Remove the mug from the microwave oven; let it cool for approximately one minute before serving.
