- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

Position sliced apples in a 9x13-inch baking vessel. Blend white sugar, one tablespoon of flour, and cinnamon in a bowl; scatter over apples. Pour water uniformly over apples.
