Ingredients
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups apples - peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
1
Gather all necessary components.
2
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
3
To create the crust, blend graham cracker crumbs, pecans, melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl until they are thoroughly incorporated.
4
Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Place it in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Leave the oven on.
5
To prepare the filling, blend cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl with an electric mixer operating at medium speed until it reaches a smooth consistency. Introduce eggs one by one, blending well after each addition. Incorporate vanilla extract into the mixture. Pour the filling into the baked crust.
6
To prepare the topping, place apples in a bowl. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a smaller bowl; pour it over the apples and mix until they are evenly coated. Spread sugared apples over the filling, then sprinkle pecans on top.
7
Place the pan in the oven until the edges are puffed, 60 to 70 minutes. Run the tip of a table knife around the edges of the pan, transfer it to a wire rack, and allow the cheesecake to cool at room temperature for approximately 1 hour. Refrigerate until it is completely chilled, requiring 4 hours or overnight.
