Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (21 ounce) can blackberry pie filling (such as Comstock®
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, quartered
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to a medium-high temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, take a 9x13-inch baking dish and lightly coat it with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
2
In a large mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, oil, eggs, baking powder, and salt. Use an electric mixer to blend these ingredients until they form a smooth paste. Then, add the oatmeal and milk to the bowl, mixing everything together until it's just combined.
3
Now, spread a layer of blackberry pie filling and sliced strawberries across the bottom of your prepared baking dish. On top of this fruit layer, spread a mixture made from the oatmeal and cream.
4
Finally, place your baking dish in the preheated oven and bake until the top is a golden brown color, taking around 30 minutes to achieve this.
