- 5 pounds red potatoes
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 small green bell pepper, seeded and diced
- 3 stalks celery, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Acquire the necessary components.

Heat a substantial container of water to its boiling point. Introduce potatoes into the pot and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are tender but retain some firmness. Drain the water, allow it to cool down and then cut the potatoes into smaller cubes.

Position eggs in a large container and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to its boiling point and immediately take it off the heat source. Cover the container and let the eggs sit in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove them from the hot water, allow them to cool down and then peel and chop.

Combine the chopped potatoes with the eggs in a large bowl. In another bowl, blend together mayonnaise, chopped onion, green onion, green pepper, and celery. Season the mixture with salt and pepper before thoroughly mixing it together.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the ingredients for several hours or overnight.
