Ingredients
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup tomato puree
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

Preheat your wok over medium heat and pour in the oil. Next, add the onions, ginger garlic paste, and bay leaf to the wok and stir until they're well combined. Allow them to cook until the onions become translucent.\nNow, add the potatoes and peas to the wok and stir well. Cover the wok with a lid and let it cook for about 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.\nRemove the bay leaf from the wok and proceed to add the tomato puree, garam masala, paprika, sugar, and salt to the mixture. Stir everything together and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.\nAdd a handful of chopped cilantro to the wok and stir well. Let it cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing all the flavors to meld together.\nRemove from heat and serve hot.
