Ingredients
- 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius.
2
Next, take a non-stick cooking spray and lightly cover the inside of a 10-inch Bundt-shaped cake mold.
3
In a spacious mixing container, combine the contents of the cake box, the pudding powder, and the poppy seeds. Create a depression in the center of the mixture and add water, oil, eggs, and almond flavoring. Mix on a low-speed setting until everything is well incorporated. Stop the mixer, scrape down the sides of the container, and continue mixing for 4 minutes on a medium-speed setting.
4
Carefully pour the cake batter into the prepared Bundt mold.
5
Bake the cake in a preheated oven for approximately 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out completely clean.
6
Allow the cake to cool in its mold for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. Let the cake continue to cool completely, at its own pace.
