Air Fryer Spicy Sea-Salt Roasted Peanuts
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 8 ounces raw Spanish peanuts
  • salt to taste

Preheat the air fryer to a high temperature, specifically 320 degrees Fahrenheit or 160 degrees Celsius.

In a large mixing container, combine olive oil, seafood seasoning, and cayenne pepper. Using a whisking motion, blend these ingredients together until well combined. Add peanuts to the bowl and stir until they are evenly coated with the oil and spice mixture.

Transfer the peanut mixture to the air fryer basket, taking care not to overcrowd it.

Cook the peanuts in the preheated air fryer for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Continue cooking for an additional 10 minutes.

Remove the air fryer basket from the appliance and sprinkle peanuts with salt. Using your hands, toss the peanuts to distribute the seasoning evenly. Return the peanuts to the air fryer basket and cook for a further 5 minutes.
