Air Fryer Roasted Garlic for Sauces and Sides
Ingredients
  • 1 head garlic
  • aluminum foil
  • 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

First, preheat the air fryer to its highest temperature setting of 380 degrees F (190 degrees C). Next, carefully remove the top layer from a whole head of garlic and position it on a square sheet of aluminum foil. Fold the foil upwards and around the garlic, creating a sealed package.

Now, drizzle olive oil over the garlic and sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Close the foil package by folding it over the garlic, forming a tight pouch.

Place the garlic pouch in the air fryer and cook for 16 to 20 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of softness. When the cooking time is up, carefully remove the foil pouch from the air fryer as hot steam will escape.
