Ingredients
- nonstick cooking spray
- 1 large egg
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 (1.2 oz) patty fully cooked breakfast sausage
- 1 medium English muffin, split
- 1 slice American cheese
Instructions
1
Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2
Take a Mason jar lid and position it upside down in the center of a 5-inch square piece of aluminum foil. Fold the foil around the lid to create a circular shape, securing it in place. Spray the foil with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
3
Carefully crack an egg into the center of the lid and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
4
Place the egg mold and frozen sausage patty side by side in the air fryer basket. Cook for 4 minutes, then flip the sausage patty over and add English muffin halves to the basket. Continue cooking for an additional 4 minutes.
5
Take one English muffin half and place it on a sheet of parchment paper. Add cheese, the cooked sausage patty, and egg to the muffin half. Top with the remaining English muffin half and assemble the sandwich. Wrap it up for a quick and easy meal.
