Ingredients
- 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Instructions
1
Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2
Next, lightly coat two individual ramekins with a thin layer of oil or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
3
Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl using high power for 1 minute.
4
Subsequently, heat the chocolate mixture in short intervals of 15 seconds until it is almost fully melted.
5
After that, carefully stir the chocolate to ensure it is completely incorporated and smooth.
6
Mix together powdered sugar, egg, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl until well combined.
7
Combine the mixture with the melted chocolate to create a smooth batter, whisking continuously until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
8
Finally, add the flour to the mixture and blend until it is evenly distributed throughout.
9
Pour the prepared batter into the greased ramekins and place them in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are secure.
10
Cover the ramekins with large pieces of aluminum foil, tucking the edges underneath to prevent them from flying off during cooking.
11
Cook the ramekins in the preheated air fryer for 8 to 10 minutes.
12
Remove the foil and continue cooking until the edges are set, adding a further 2 to 4 minutes as needed.
13
Remove the cooked ramekins from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes.
14
Finally, invert the ramekins onto dessert plates and serve hot.
