Air Fryer Marinated Steak Fajitas
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon jalapeno chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 pound skirt steak, sliced into strips against the grain
  • 1 onion, sliced into strips
  • 1 bell pepper, seeded and sliced into strips
Instructions
1
Combine a generous amount of olive oil with a pinch of salt, adding a dash of garlic powder, cumin, jalapeño chile powder, and chili powder to the mix. Place these ingredients in a resealable plastic bag, where you'll also add sliced steak, chopped onion, and diced bell pepper. Seal the bag tightly, making sure to remove as much air as possible before closing it up again. Store the marinade in the refrigerator for an extended period of time, ideally 8 hours or overnight.

Next, prepare your air fryer by lining the basket with a sheet of perforated parchment paper. Add the marinated onion, pepper, and steak to the basket, making sure they're evenly distributed. Place the air fryer basket in the device and set it to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Cook for an initial 5 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure everything is cooking evenly. Continue air frying until the steak reaches your desired level of doneness, approximately 4 additional minutes.
