Air Fryer Lobster Tails with Zesty Lemon-Garlic Butter
Ingredients
  • 2 (4 ounce) lobster tails
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 wedges lemon
Instructions
1
Collect all necessary components for the dish. Preheat an air fryer to 380 degrees F (195 degrees C).
2
Separate the lobster tails by making a lengthwise incision through both the hard top shell and the meat using kitchen shears. Make a shallow cut to, but not through, the bottom of each shell.
3
Spread the lobster tails apart. Place them in the air fryer basket with their meat side facing upwards.
4
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add some grated lemon zest and minced garlic; warm until the garlic emits a pleasant aroma, approximately 30 seconds.
5
Transfer 2 tablespoons of the melted butter mixture to a small bowl; brush this onto the lobster tails. Discard any leftover brushed butter to prevent cross-contamination from uncooked lobster. Season the lobster with salt and pepper.
6
Cook in the preheated air fryer until the meat is opaque, taking around 5 to 7 minutes.
7
Spoon any remaining melted butter from the saucepan over the lobster meat. Top with some chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
