Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 5 cups stale bread, cut into cubes
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/4 cup no-salt-added chicken broth
- cooking spray
Instructions
1
Heat the butter in a compact skillet over a moderate temperature setting, approximately 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Introduce the celery and onion into the skillet and cook until they become tender, taking around 5 minutes to achieve this.
2
Combine the bread, parsley, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper in a container. Incorporate the cooked onion and celery into the mixture by stirring it well. Introduce an egg to the bowl and mix until everything is harmoniously combined. Add chicken broth to the mixture, stirring it well to achieve a unified consistency. Shape the stuffing mixture into 8 identical spheres. Transfer them to a plate and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
3
Preheat the air fryer device to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius). Lightly spray the stuffing balls with a cooking coating. Arrange them in the preheated air fryer, sprayed side down, without overlapping any of the spheres. Spray the tops lightly with a cooking coating as well.
4
Cook in the preheated air fryer for 5 minutes, then turn them over and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
