Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 pinches Cajun seasoning
- 12 ounces salmon, minced
- 1 tablespoon snipped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, or more as needed
- 1 lemon
- cooking spray
Instructions
1
Combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and Cajun seasoning in a small bowl. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator until required.
2
Prepare the salmon by combining it with chopped chives, parsley, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt in a medium-sized bowl. Mix everything together until well combined. Add flour to the mixture and blend it thoroughly. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts, shape each portion into a patty, and set aside.
3
Heat the air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Slice a lemon into four pieces and place them at the bottom of the air fryer basket. Carefully position the salmon patties on top of the lemon slices. Lightly spray the patties with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
4
Put the air fryer basket in the preheated oven and reduce the temperature to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). Cook the salmon patties in the air fryer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of a patty reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Serve the patties with the chilled dipping sauce.
