Ingredients
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can salmon, drained and flaked
- 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- avocado oil nonstick cooking spray

Combine the salmon, panko breadcrumbs, sautéed onions, mayonnaise, beaten egg, lemon juice, chopped fresh dill, seafood seasoning, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Blend the ingredients together until they are well combined and form 6 uniform patties.

Heat the air fryer to a high temperature of 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Cover the air fryer basket with parchment paper and lightly spray it with avocado oil for non-stick performance.

Prepare the air fryer basket in batches if necessary, placing the salmon patties into it and giving them a light coating of avocado oil on top.

Cook the salmon patties in the preheated air fryer for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Flip the patties over and spray them with avocado oil again, then continue cooking for an additional 4 to 7 minutes.
