Air Fryer Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Maple-Mustard Mayo
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup, divided
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon stone ground mustard
Instructions
1
Preheat your air fryer to the highest temperature setting, which is 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2
In a large bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated. Add 1 cup of Brussels sprouts to the bowl and gently toss them around until they are evenly coated with the mixture.
3
Carefully place the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving enough space between each sprout to allow for even cooking. If necessary, cook the Brussels sprouts in batches to prevent overcrowding.
4
Cook the Brussels sprouts for 4 minutes, then shake the basket to redistribute the sprouts. Continue cooking until they are deep golden brown and tender, which should take an additional 4 to 6 minutes.
5
Simultaneously, whisk together mayonnaise, the remaining 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and mustard in a small bowl.
6
Once the Brussels sprouts are cooked to your liking, toss them gently in some of the sauce mixture you created. Alternatively, serve the sprouts as a dipping sauce for your favorite foods.
